A View From The Hill CIC helps charities and community groups tap into a wealth of business skills, offered by enthusiastic volunteers across the UK.
Our view is that great things happen when volunteers and charities work together.
Developed by Edward Ryder from Biskit Ltd, the idea has been refined after many years of volunteering within the UK charity sector, and contributions from many individuals and companies along the way.
As a volunteer, your skills might be very varied. Some volunteers might work in the legal, finance, marketing sectors. Others might have human resource, pr, personal development and leadership skills. You might even just say that you have ‘general business skills’. All of these are valuable to a charity or community group.
You may even have been working in industry so long that you have forgotten what your skills are. If this is the case, then come along to an event… being told that your skills are needed can be very uplifting!
A View From The Hill is run entirely on a voluntary basis. We would be delighted to handle any queries or questions from you, so please feel free to contact us at any time.
In March 2013, A View From The Hill was awarded “Work Placement of the Year” by NCWE.
